4. Why did you choose banana oil to be in Trussell's "office space"?

         I just borrowed a page from my own childhood.  I used to build model airplanes in the house, but my stepmother banished me to the garage for this activity because she couldn't stand the smell of airplane dope.  (Dope was the term for the special paint in small bottles used in modeling.  This paint was suitable for use on balsa wood and tissue paper which was used to cover the models.)

         My stepmother simply referred to the sharp aroma as "banana oil."  I really don't know if banana oil was an ingredient in the dope or not.  I just knew it worked and used it, as did Trussell, as a repellant for my stepmother.
